The girl pictured above is 18 years old Tashanna Mauge, who attacked a Nigerian Mr. Akinyika Oyedapo in London, while on duty.

Nigerians and Africans in general living abroad face many risks everyday while on duty. We’ve had cases of people loosing their lives in the process of them  trying to fend for themselves and families. Mr Akinyinka Oyedapo I will say was lucky to be alive after being attacked by Tashanna Mauge, 18, when she was stopped from climbing through the ticket barrier without paying at Denmark Hill train station London.

When  Mr Oyedapo approached Tashanna she then tried to snatch the keys from his hand, he managed to hold onto them and she punched him which left the lens of his eye hanging out and since thenThe TfL worker has been unable to return to work , and has also struggled to watch TV, use a computer, or even go outside because of pain from light.

Tashanna Mauge was sentenced to  18 months in a young offenders’ institution, at  Blackfriars crown court.
