Stan Eke Honors as Ahmed Rufai Muhammed appoints President/Chairman of IoD Nigeria

The 15th Investiture of Institute of Director Nigeria appointed Alhaji Ahmed Rufai Muhammed as it's new President/Chairman at a dinner party organized by the Institute to honor the chairman. The event which attracted various dignitaries had His Highness Muhammadu Sanusi 11, of Kano as guest and was ably represented by Seriki  Sani who addressed the audience with the Emir message. Chief Chris Okunowo who introduced other guest to the high table including Mr Rob Newsome, Parner Emeritus,from (PwC) Price Water Coppers, delivered a paper on the Incentive Undoing Ethics', Mr Rob charged the new appointed chairman to show good example as in the same manner as his predecessor. In the swearing in Ceremony and Oath of Office by Chief Anthony Idighe, read his citation in part: Alhaji Ahmed Rufai is the 15th President of the Institute of Directors,he joined IoD in the year 2005 and had served the Institute in several capacities, including 1st Vice President, Vice  Nomination and Governance Committee and Chairman of finance and General Purpose Committee. He also chaired the IoD Center for Corporate Governance in 2015 and had hitherto served as the chairman of the Abuja branch of IoD.
The event was also used to honour some personalities in Nigeria; among them where Mr Leo Stan Eke, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, Mr Akintola Williams, and Mr Rob Newsome for outstanding support to the Institute since its inception.
