Anambra Election Will Hold - Nnamdi Kanu, IPOB

Nnamdi Kanu, IPOB has pulled back its threat to stop the conduct of the November 18 governorship election in Anambra State.



The new development was reached after a meeting summoned by a non-governmental organisation, the Ala-Igbo International Foundation with the pioneer of IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu in Owerri, the Imo State capital.

Pioneer of the foundation, Professor Uzodinma Nwala, says after much considerations which they say is as yet continuous, IPOB has guaranteed the Igbo leaders that it won't upset the November 18 governorship election.

Individuals who are qualified to vote have likewise been advised to go out and practice their franchise without dread of attack.

The Ala-Igbo Development Foundation is an Igbo group that unites Igbo scholastics, older folks, priests, patriotic public figures, ladies and youth, both at home and abroad, with the principal target of securing and guaranteeing the survival of Ndigbo, their way of life and civilisation and in addition the advancement of Igboland.
