Man beaten mercilessly for picking up a phone and using it (photo)

A 37-year-old man identified as Walter Masuku, was given the beaten of his life for picking up on a mobile phone on the road and immediately converted it to his own personal use.

Daily Sun in South Africa, reported that the man saw the phone on the floor but after waiting for the owner of the phone to show up and he did not, he started using the phone. However, two days later the owner of the phone showed up and Walter returned the phone but got the beaten of his life.

Narrating how it all happened, Walter disclosed that: “My friend used the phone and gave it back to me. I left it in my room and went for the car wash to wash my car. I told him it was at my house and as soon as I finished washing my car, I would go and get it for him. He started swearing at me, calling me names and when I tried to tell him I could buy him a new sim card to replace the one I had lost, he started beating me with fists and slaps and kicked me all over my body.”

The victim further added that, when the case was reported to the South African police, they refused to open a case file at first but Loate police spokesman Captain Samuel Sebola, he called him in and confirmed that a case of assault had been opened.
