Bornu State Government had paid the in-law of the slain Boko Haram Leader in fulfillment of out of court settlement earlier agreed.
In another development a group of four gun men suspected to be Boko Haram sect attacked a tea shop in Gazangi-Tashan Gandu area of Biu, in Borno State, about three people were killed, and five others injured.
