Parents Of Abducted Girls Storm GGTC Dapchi, Yobe To Know Whereabouts Of Children

About 111 students of GGTC Dapchi in Bursari LGA of Yobe state were attacked and abducted by Boko Haram insurgents.

According to the report, the students and teachers who were able to escape narrated that they ran into nearby communities even as far as 15-25 kilometers from the school.

 Parents stormed the school to know the whereabouts of their wards. Yobe state government has however closed schools. In the same vein, the State Government has issued a public statement apologizing for the earlier information of rescuing the girls, and stated that there was a mix up of information.
