Popular socialite and nightlife entrepreneur, Pascal Okechukwu, widely known as Cubana Chief Priest, has stirred conversation online after displaying customised luxury vehicles promoting President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general election.

Cubana Chief Priest, who is reportedly serving as the City Boy Movement Director in Imo State, has remained outspoken about his political interests and support for the All Progressives Congress.

In videos shared on his Instagram story on Wednesday, the socialite showcased a campaign-themed Lamborghini Urus and a Dongfeng M-Hero parked at a private residence.

The vehicles featured coordinated designs in green, white, blue and red, carrying images of President Tinubu, Vice-President Kashim Shettima and Seyi Tinubu. Slogans including “City Boy Movement,” “APC,” and “Asiwaju Still on Motion” were also boldly displayed.

After the clips circulated across social media, reactions quickly followed, with many users questioning the symbolism of such displays at a time of economic hardship in the country.

One X user, #FowobiofLagos, wrote: “See what they’re using the money they can use to better a community to do.”

Another user, #chukwuebuka, commented: “Man is shamelessly money driven. The love of money is the root of all…”

#ObiOfala added: “This one no send wetin anybody the talk! He just wants a foot in the corridors of power! Proper house nigga.”

Meanwhile, #Toocrazzyyyy remarked: “He no go still see pass 14 votes,” in apparent reference to Cubana Chief Priest’s previously reported performance in an APC primary contest.

Other users questioned the broader implications of celebrity involvement in politics.

#beet_kon posted: “Always trying to feel relevant in politics.”

#JosephGold09 wrote: “This man is the saddest rich man in the country. Money dey, but purpose no dey. Just dey do like poor man.”

Cubana Chief Priest, who built his public image around luxury, hospitality and his popular phrase “Money Na Water,” had not publicly responded to the reactions as of press time.

In the past, the socialite has defended his extravagant lifestyle, describing it as an expression of success rather than excess.

His growing political visibility — including participation in APC activities and earlier claims surrounding compensation after a primary defeat — continues to attract public attention as conversations around politics and influence intensify ahead of 2027.
