Rita Edochie Mocks Side Chick Dumped By Married Man In Cryptic Post

Veteran Nollywood actress, Rita Edochie, has stirred social media with a cryptic message seemingly aimed at side chicks.

In a recent post on her Instagram page, the actress spoke about a married man who allegedly used his side chick to provoke his wife, only to later abandon her. She hinted that the woman had relied on charms to keep the man, but that her plan had backfired.

“Married man don use you pepper him wife. Now he don dey done using you and dumped you. Nwgueun how market? Abeg, be happy and laugh off the stress, jor. Nigeria is too toxic and a very stressful country,” she wrote.

Rita went on to criticize unfaithful married men and their side chicks, suggesting that many men go to extreme lengths to cheat, while their mistresses often end up heartbroken.

“A married man dey ready to lie/swear with his unborn children just for one minute of enjoyment with side chicks. But once you wey be his wife catch kpi_chi_kon, na sorry be the side chick. Though this one na man wey get conscience. Because na only another soup him sneak out to try,” she stated.

Continuing her post, she took a swipe at women who allegedly use charms to trap married men, warning that such actions always end badly.

“When e dey, dey bad na when you wey be side chick carry juju like jujuwhorestin carry the married man keep for yourself, you go collect noww,” she added.

Rita’s message comes months after she commented on the marital crisis between her nephew, Yul Edochie, and his estranged wife, May. When rumours spread about Yul’s alleged separation from his second wife, Judy Austin, Rita remarked that those who once mocked May were now facing their own downfall.

She had written at the time that those who conspired to destroy May’s peace “have ended up breaking themselves,” adding that May’s enemies had become “silent admirers” because “the hand of God upon her is too heavy for them to fight.”

Earlier in June, Rita had also praised May while sending a message to critics. She stated that May would continue to be known as “May Yul Edochie,” regardless of her marital status.

“She remains May Yul Edochie, even after the divorce, because no one gave her the name. If you don’t like it, hug transformer or sleep because her name has come to stay,” she said.

Since May’s separation from Yul, Rita has publicly identified herself as a strong supporter and mother figure to her. She previously likened herself to a “Mother Hen,” promising to always defend and protect May despite public criticism.

“To those telling me to leave May alone, know this — May is now my daughter, and I will never leave her,” she affirmed.
