Senator Ned Nwoko has finally broken his silence following the viral allegations by his wife, Regina Daniels, claiming she lent him ₦71 million and that he was behind the arrest of her siblings.
Regina Daniels recently took to social media to accuse her husband, the Delta North senator, of orchestrating the arrest of her brothers. The drama quickly went viral, drawing widespread reactions from fans and the entertainment industry.
However, rather than addressing the allegations directly, Senator Nwoko chose to focus on his latest achievement — a newly constructed mini-stadium in Issele-Uku, Delta State. Taking to his official X (formerly Twitter) handle, the lawmaker shared photos and details of the sports facility, describing it as part of his ongoing commitment to community development and youth empowerment.
“The project was conceived to inspire youth, promote healthy competition, and strengthen community spirit,” Nwoko stated.
According to the senator, the Issele-Uku Mini-Stadium boasts a standard football pitch, a seven-a-side multi-sports arena, pavilions on both sides, and well-equipped dressing rooms, all designed to provide an enabling environment for sports and recreation in Delta State.
This update comes amid heated controversy between Nwoko and the Daniels family. Regina’s mother, Rita Daniels, also reacted strongly, accusing the senator of tarnishing their family’s image despite their previous support for him.
Rita Daniels alleged that her daughter contributed $50,000 (₦71 million) to Nwoko’s election campaign and that their family invested both time and resources to help him succeed politically.
As of now, Senator Ned Nwoko has not issued a direct response to the allegations surrounding the loan or the purported arrest of Regina Daniels’ siblings, choosing instead to highlight his community-focused initiatives.
