In a fiery outburst amid escalating reports of Christian persecution in Plateau State, Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo, a leading cleric from the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN) in Barkin Ladi, has issued a stern warning of divine retribution against former presidential aide Reno Omokri.

The pastor accuses Omokri of blatantly ignoring the ongoing killings of Christians in Nigeria, labeling his statements as an insult to victims of alleged Fulani herdsmen attacks and religious violence in Northern Nigeria.Omokri, known for his social media commentary, has consistently rejected claims of a Christian genocide in Plateau State, urging global observers to visit the region and confirm his assertions. His previous post minimizing a brutal massacre in the area ignited widespread fury, leading to its swift removal.

Undeterred, Rev. Dachomo released a compelling video on Facebook, vowing to expose irrefutable proof of the atrocities and promising a forthcoming press conference.“There is genocide and I have evidence to prove this. I have pictures of innocent people killed, including little children. Very soon, I will hold a press conference to talk about this.“I will present that his small children are among those killed.

I will present the recent killings that the Nigerian government does not want the world to know.“They are saying that I’m opposing my own government by exposing them. Are they not exposing us to Fulani terrorists by refusing to come to our aid when we cry out? They are exposing us. They are exposing us; let them continue killing us. Then they turn their faces as if nothing is happening.“Then there is that man called Reno Omokri, who came out and said there is no genocide in Nigeria. That man I have cursed already.

He will never know peace down to his grave.“The blood of the people that has entered my brain, I have transferred them into his life. He will not escape.“I want all Nigerians to know the man will never escape.

He has been living a dubious life with different governments, but this time around, he has crossed the line.“If I exist without seeing God crush that man, then I’m a bastard, because the blood of the people that have been killed in the north, for him coming out to deny it—he has crossed the line. He is finished.

“The only hope for him that will buy my heart is for him to repent. Let him repent. If Reno Omokri will repent, and those kinds of Christians that came out and say there’s no genocide, if they don’t repent, they will all face the wrath of God.”

This clash highlights deepening divisions over ethnic and religious conflicts in Nigeria, with critics arguing that government inaction fuels herdsmen-farmer clashes and targeted assaults on Christian communities. Rev. Dachomo's bold condemnation underscores demands for accountability, positioning the controversy at the intersection of politics, faith, and human rights. As tensions rise in Plateau State violence, eyes are on whether Omokri will respond or if international scrutiny will intensify scrutiny on these Nigerian Christian killings.

The pastor's evidence could spark broader debates on genocide allegations in Nigeria, urging swift intervention to halt the cycle of bloodshed.
