Popular Nigerian TikTok influencer Peller has shared how content creation transformed his life, taking him from a humble background as a furniture maker to becoming one of the most recognized TikTok personalities in Nigeria. Speaking about his journey, Peller revealed that TikTok has become more than just an entertainment platform—it is now a life-changing career path for thousands of Nigerians.
According to him, “If you are active on TikTok, it’s just like you have a full-time job. It has really helped a lot of people escape poverty. Even the number of young ladies engaging in hookups has reduced because many now focus on content creation and live-streaming.”
Peller disclosed that he started his TikTok journey in 2023, with only three to five people watching his videos. Despite the low engagement at the beginning, he refused to give up. His consistency eventually paid off as his creative content began to go viral, attracting a massive audience. “Before TikTok, I was just a furniture maker struggling to survive. But now, live-streaming and content creation bring in huge money. I never believed I would be this big until I started seeing people posting my videos everywhere,” he said.
Peller also encouraged the Nigerian government to invest in TikTok and other social media opportunities, noting that the platform has become a reliable source of income for millions. He further emphasized how musicians and celebrities now use TikTok to promote their songs, thanks to the live-streaming culture he helped popularize.
