Popular Nigerian actress and influencer, Nkechi Blessing Sunday, has fired back at social commentator VeryDarkMan (VDM) after he allegedly offered ₦500,000 to the individual who leaked her unedited gym photo online.
The leaked image, which quickly went viral, showed Nkechi seated at a gym, checking her phone before a workout, with her stomach visibly protruding. The photo sparked a wave of body-shaming comments across social media, triggering a heated response from the actress.
Nkechi Blessing’s Fiery Response
Taking to Instagram Stories, Nkechi Blessing lashed out at VDM in an emotional outburst:
“Shameless pr!ck seller sef wants to talk. At least it's my belle that is trending and not my private part. RATS, ask your president who gave him relevance in 2023. VDM, take my name out of your mouth. I have ignored you enough. AVOID ME! AVOID ME!! AVOID ME!!!”
She also called out what she described as double standards in online trolling culture, saying:
“It’s always okay for trolls to abuse you, then when you abuse back it’s a problem? They only see your reply but nobody talks about what triggered you.”
Dismissing VDM’s influence, Nkechi further stated:
“I won’t bother making a video to address you, you are worthless! I gave you relevance before, not again. Bingo!”

The controversy began when an unflattering candid shot of Nkechi surfaced online. While many users mocked her physical appearance, the actress insisted she would not succumb to shame, stressing that she carries her body with pride and leaves judgment to God.
