Renowned gospel minister, Pastor Nathaniel Bassey, has revealed that he will be spending his birthday with inmates at the Kirikiri Medium Security Prison in Lagos.
The worship leader made the announcement on Tuesday via his Instagram page, where he disclosed that the event would include a special one-day edition of the Hallelujah Challenge inside the prison facility.
“Tomorrow for my birthday, I praise and celebrate with my brethren in the prisons!” Bassey wrote.
The Hallelujah Challenge, a worship initiative pioneered by Bassey, has over the years attracted global participation, drawing thousands of people into sessions of praise and prayer online.
By taking the movement to Kirikiri, Bassey said he hopes to share joy, encouragement, and the message of the gospel with those behind bars, extending the reach of his ministry beyond traditional settings.
