Controversial Nigerian activist and social media personality, VeryDarkMan (VDM), has fired back at reality TV star Ijeoma Josephina Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, after their recent heated exchange on social media. In a strongly worded statement, VDM reminded the former Big Brother Naija Level Up winner of how he once promoted her work and stood by her when she was facing severe online bullying.
Taking to his platform, VDM expressed disappointment in Phyna’s remarks, highlighting that he had selflessly supported her without expecting anything in return. According to him:
"I guess I wasn't disgusting and stinking when I promoted your song on August 1 to over 300,000 people on my Instagram story for free without being asked. Today I am disgusting and stinking. Did you forget when people were bully!ng you and The Ratels pulled through? Well I will not stop lending my voice to issues."
This statement comes after Phyna allegedly described VDM in unflattering terms, sparking a fresh round of online debates among fans.
