Natasha Osawaru, the newlywed wife of iconic Nigerian singer Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba or 2face, has drawn attention after proudly displaying her wedding ring—just days after tying the knot.
Reports emerged earlier this week that Natasha, an Edo State lawmaker, and 2Baba had held a quiet traditional wedding ceremony in Edo State. Since the news broke, social media has been abuzz with reactions ranging from support to criticism.
After the ceremony, Natasha made a striking appearance at the State Assembly, wearing her wedding ring confidently. The gesture appeared to be a subtle message to critics questioning her relationship with the music star.

Amid the frenzy, 2Baba has responded to public opinion. In a recent statement, the music legend explained that he and his former wife, Annie Idibia, had long ended their relationship. Defending his decision, he said he chose peace and genuine love. Speaking on Natasha, he described her as “a woman of dignity, value, beauty, and intelligence”—and affirmed that she is now officially his wife.
