"Despite Past Criticism, Destiny Etiko Stands by Very Dark Man in Public Appeal"

Nollywood star Destiny Etiko has publicly expressed support for controversial social media activist Very Dark Man (VDM), putting aside their past conflict.

 

In a heartfelt post on her Instagram page, Etiko acknowledged the activist’s impact on society, noting his courage and commitment to speaking out for the less privileged. Despite being previously criticized by VDM—particularly when she acquired a new car—Etiko chose to focus on the positive influence he has had.

 

She praised him for his fearlessness, his dedication to the truth, and his charitable contributions, stating that his voice has made a significant difference in the lives of many Nigerians.

 

Sharing her reasons for speaking up, she wrote:

 

“Am posting this for a reason fam!!! For the fact that this young man has done a lot that we all can’t do, I have every reason to keep quiet cos he even dragged me when I bought my car saying all sorts of things, but I Haven’t checked the good he has done my brothers and sister. Hm I decided to post this cos it’s very difficult to see a young man in this country who can do what he does; he stands for the truth, is very brave and has never stopped speaking out for people in need. He massively gives back to society, which says a lot about his benevolent heart. Pls let’s look into this matter and free this young man, HIS VOICE HAS DONE A GREAT AND AMAZING JOB FOR A LOT OF PEOPLE.”
