Nigerian singer and producer Samuel Oguachuba, widely known as Samklef, has expressed his intention to pray for Davido's success in securing his first Grammy nominations. This gesture comes amidst a social media feud between the two.
Samklef made this statement in a trending video on his Instagram page on Saturday, taking a moment to congratulate Davido on his Grammy nominations. The decision to offer prayers for Davido's success despite any ongoing disagreements underscores a positive and supportive approach from Samklef. This public expression of goodwill is likely to be noted by fans and followers of both artists.
“This post is a special post for Davido only! As you don get 3 nominations I will be praying for you to win the 3. You must win something sha. And I also like the fact that you no send anybody. Me and you have something in common. Congratulations once more,” he stated.
The feud between Samklef and Davido reportedly began in October. It originated from Samklef sharing a video of Davido and his wife, Chioma, leaving the hospital with their newborn twins in Atlanta, USA, in a congratulatory post. In response, Davido, who hadn't officially announced the birth of twins, criticized Samklef and eventually blocked him on social media.
Since the incident, Samklef has continued to address the situation through a series of posts, claiming that Davido owes N1 million to one of his associates, a University of Lagos (UNILAG) student named Mastermind, from 2020. This ongoing dispute has added a layer of controversy to their interactions on social media.
