Daniel Regha said BBNaija churning out role models with low moral values

Controversial social media commentator Daniel Regha has voiced his concern, asserting that the widely followed Nigerian reality show, Big Brother Naija (BBNaija), has been generating celebrities with questionable moral values. Regha made these remarks in the context of his criticism of BBNaija All Stars winner Ilebaye, who attended singer Davido's Martell party.

Expressing his disapproval, Daniel Regha highlighted Ilebaye's appearance at the event, particularly drawing attention to her choice of a revealing dress, which has become a subject of widespread discussion on the internet. Regha's comments suggest a broader critique of the values projected by certain individuals who gain fame through participation in the popular reality show.

Regha opined: “Ilebaye should have stayed at home if she had no better or decent outfit for the Martell Party; her dress was absolutely disgusting.

“Again, this is the type of role model BBNaija is producing and promoting—someone with low moral values. But it’s not her fault, though; Nigerians championed her.”
