Party, Not Buhari Can Determine Oyegun's Tenure - APC Discloses

The story of the All Progressives Congress (APC) disclosing that President Buhari does not have the right to cancel the elongation of the National Working Committee (NWC), as it is the prerogative of the party to do so, not Mr President went viral online today.

This information was disclosed by Joseph Daudu (SAN) who is the counsel to APC, stated that whatever view of the President on the elongation matter was the president’s personal opinion and carried no weight until the party met and deliberated on the matter. 

“As far as President Buhari’s view is concerned, it carries no weight until the party meet and decide and deliberate on it. As far as the party is concerned he is an ordinary member like others,” he added.
