Okorocha Responds To Calls To Demolish Jacob Zuma's Statue Following His Resignation.

Jacob Zuma's statue was erected on his visit to Owerri in 2017 by the Governor of Imo State, Owele Rochas Okorocha. Now following the resignation of Zuma, over allegations of corruption by his own party, the ANC, Nigerians are calling on Governor Rochas Okorocha to demolish it, but the Governor insisted that the statue would remain as Zuma is not the first public office holder to resign from office.

Zuma had announced through a nationwide broadcast covered by SABC of his immediate resignation from the office of the president of the Republic of South Africa, two days ago.
